Staring out of my window

by Rosie   Nov 29, 2005

As I stare out of my window, I'm in another world
Moon shining brightly, looks like a pearl
Listening to the breeze and smelling cold air
Is there a better world somewhere out there?

I'm searching for happiness and freedom
I can accomplish it, I have wisdom
The snow on the mountain tops glisten
Can somebody up there please listen?

The stars twinkle in the night's sky
How I wish I could just fly high
Leaving all my troubles for yesterday
Letting the stars show me another way

As I stare out of my window, I can feel
My emotions build up and still...
I'm crying these sad, lonely tears
Trying to fight away my fears

Is this world doing it's best to bring me down
There are no smiles, it's all frowns
I'm losing my will to be strong
I'm losing my faith to carry on...

    Hey Rosie,

I've been waiting for a new poem. And here it is.

What a lovely poem Rosie. It flows, it really does.

What I like most about this poem is that I can relate to it. I do that to. My bed is actually in front of the window, and when I go to bed, sometimes I leave the curtains open, and watch the stars, wondering if (like you said) if there is another world, a better place then we have here.

I could feel it. I could feel the the.. well.. kind of hopelessness. I truly love this poem. It is wonderful.

Very well writin. Once again you showed how talented you are. The way you play with words is amazing. Very well done.

    Excellent.

Take care Rosie, lotsaaaa love and hugs. -xxx-
