Deep inside

by Unrequited   Dec 1, 2005

All of it
all torment created
calloused creatures
and grateful ghosts
presented by presenters
of our vengeful pasts
a light at the end of the tunnel
was the signal of a life still to be born
and i was dead
the voices screamed at me
the light must go on
it must go on
all through the land
a land so gray and true

take me down
down to your land
where we can rest and sleep and watch the snow fall to the ground
you were there
always there
you caught my heart as it was set aflame
just before it hit the ground with a splat
all the voices, all the memories, all the fixations that i had
they all told me that you were good
and that you would save me from the cool dark waters
the voices were right,
they always are
for you are always good to me

my heart does not bleed
my heart does not hit the ground
my soul does not fall into the sea
and now my love has a home

you are with me
and i hope to be in you
inside your heart with a love so grand and passionate, that it cannot help but burst,
and cover me with your soul
stay with me
and i will never let you go
stay with me,
and i will always love you so

i am complete
we are one
and no one can kill what you have given me
eternal love,
that is buried deep inside
