One By One

by Ben   Dec 1, 2005

In my dreams,
There’s a house on a hill,
In a cove over the sea.
As the sun goes down,
We lay in each others arms,
Counting the starts one by one.

As the cold mist,
Sweeps in from the ocean,
We set alight the fire place,
Holding each other through the night.
In this sweet embrace,
Counting the passing hours,
One bye one.

We lay awake,
As the morning dawns,
With our hands entwined,
Gazing into each others eyes.
No need to count the reasons we love,
One by one
