Kissing Through The Tears

by Chit Cyn   Dec 1, 2005

Close your eyes, it is easier to feel than look
The eyes to the soul can be read like a sad book
With every sentence another cry
Every paragraph another tear from the eye

Those words that console are like soothing morning breeze
A great comfort over grief for someone who didn't exist
Words of relief now burning to passion and desire
Perhaps like a king in a faraway castle or my knight or squire

Under the sad and pale moonlight
Tears that shed are like pearls so bright
Its misery is dark as enfolds in the night
Hoping there's tomorrow of good insight

Those precious tears mix with their lips
As they lose each other in their final kiss
Memories to hold in eternal bliss
But here to stay to lift each other's wish

Oceans of water and time apart
Their kiss stretches as does their heart
Cry a river when time to depart
Leaving is like a knife cut so sharp

Parting is such sweet sorrow isn't true
But value is drawn all this life through
And love is something that it seems we hardly knew
Bitter it maybe but joy in the end we view...
