In Troubled Waters

by Chit Cyn   Dec 1, 2005

Drawn by a special friendship
I succumbed to try a tease
as dilemma haunted me...
I still did it just to please

with bewitching charm... enchanting smile...
a complicated situation I was caught in a while
thought at first I triumphed over evil and bad
but, regretting is bitter and is always at the end

I have been used... and I have lost!
but I stand firm though it gave me a toss
innocent souls been tested and defied
a relationship so pure had once been denied

stormy wind, a hurricane-twin, crashing our worlds
ticking whisper of hatred on each mind as they crumpled
bridging gaps, never too late now I wished and I hoped
in troubled waters, i still paddle my boat...
