Christmas in Paradise

by AllHailTheHeartbreaker   Dec 1, 2005

Oh how I wish
for a simple Christmas
all in white
Instead of this
horrid holiday
here in Paradise.

There are fake trees
and wreaths
in all the shopping malls
Without a single evergreen,
ornament or decoration
to deck our halls.

So you see,
Paradise isn't all
that it's cracked up to be
It's a very Merry Christmas
in a land all in white
that is my Christmas dream.

I really liked this poem. A dream of a white Christmas and real decorations. Snow really does make Christmas a nicer and more festive time. Well done on this, I enjoyed the read, and the flow is spot on.
