Here I Lay

by Princess09   Dec 1, 2005

Heart pounding,
Sweat dripping.
I'm losing control,
Slowly I am slipping.

Slipping into a hole,
That is hard to climb out of.
Holding on tight,
I can't fall in love.

Not again,
And not with you.
the one I hated,
When I hardly knew.

Hardly knew how wonderful,
And amazing you could be.
How perfect you are,
And how you would be with me.

You may have flaws,
But they are attractive too.
I like you in pink,
As well as blue.

I listen for your voice,
And feel for your touch.
Like our little kisses,
And hugs very much.

But you confuse me,
When they tell me no.
That getting with you,
Is stooping very low.

If it's low,
Then why do I feel this way?
Why does your smile,
Brighten my day?

they said it shouldn't,
that you're just a delay.
So here I think,
About this and lay.

**To him ******** I loved you SO much and hurt me more then I thought anyone could, You and someone new **** are what triggered this**
