FOREVER

Forever is a word that is meant to be true,
But forever is a word I will never look up to,
Forever is a commitment to always be,
But forever is a word I just can't see,
You may believe that forever is not a lie,
But the truth is forever will always die,
You may tell me that forever is you and me,
But I know that could never be,
Even if we last until we grow old,
One of us will die first and the other will feel cold,
Never will I say the word forever,
Because I know that word will never be able to be held together,
One will die before the other,
That's why we could never be forever,
Forever I wish it could be,
Just you and me,
But I know that could never happen you see,
Because nobody could ever live to be that happy,
So forever will always be the word I hate,
Always will I tell myself, we can always rely on fate....
