Turnip

While searching through this dire site,
A truth came to my knowledge,
On this site there are no poems,
On how a turnip goes to College,

I was shocked, no devastated,
And thought this problem must be mended
And so I wrote this poem,
So my turnip was not offended,

There are several ways to get to Uni,
For our turnip friends,
But first they must sit a test,
With many twists and bends,

An entrance test of sorts,
The contents of which are odd
For a turnip must state why
He would rather be a cod

He must also give ten reasons
Why he would rather not
Go on the biology field trip
To experiment with snot

A soil test will be taken
Near his cosy home
Just to check of course
That he was correctly grown

Next comes the physical
To determine his age
For any turnip under two
Cannot pass this stage

And once he has passed those few steps
It is at last time
To write his departure speech
Which will have to rhyme

And there we have it plain and simple
It wasnt hard at all
The simple method of entrance
To Als Turnip Market Stall
