A girl

by LAurEn N.   Dec 2, 2005

A twisted spine
Her complicated mind

Up from the trenches of her lower back..her hands turn to stone then begin to crack

up her arms onto her face
regret begins to change the pace

her picture painted inside the bones
inside the bottle she will hold, the magic mind of a shadow unknown

buttons begin to burst the seams
empty thoughts and possessive dreams just like any other
in between

up the side walk she will go
to make another story known
about a girl who used to care
about a girl who tired to share

up from the gutter
films arise
she's the other winning prize
taken from the glory days
as they begin to fuel her haze

about a girl
