Thank You

Every morning I pray, thanking God for You,
You're there for me, even though with the distance between us its hard to do,
but theres something different this time, and I don't know what,
about my self, about the sky and how the sun comes up,
its a strange feeling, I've never felt so sure,
about the day, about life, about faith, about Her,
a strong woman, a true Queen, I look up to Her everyday,
if I ever had a daughter Love, I wouldn't want her to be any other way,
I see so much in You, that I can't even begin to describe,
I feel like a new born child opening its eyes for the first time,
it might sound strange, I know it does to me,
I'm just trying to understand what You've done to me,
I cant wait till the day I get to hold You close and tell You these things,
for now its a thank You for being who You are and all the joy that You bring.
