Had to let go

The guy I loved
was perfect for me
he said all the right things
and was sweet as can be

he stole my heart
what else can I say
the first time I saw him
I fell in love that day

just to make him happy
I gave all that I could
I know I didn't have to
but I felt that I should

those two months
were the best I ever had
I was always laughing
never upset or mad

I know that he could see
that I loved him so
but he wasn't happy
so I had to let him go

This is about my last breakup. I hope you all like it!
