Lady Firefighter

by firechk   Dec 4, 2005

Asleep until the tones sound
Get dressed like I always do
Run out the door station bound
I jump in the truck & wait
for the crew

I fly to the scene with an
adrenaline rush
I see things people wouldn't
believe
Whether it be a dwelling fire or
an MVA with a bus
I so what I'm asked & I don't
deceive

I dunn my gear & fight the fire
I rescue that small child or
older person
I keep cars away from that
loose wire
I stop the blaze before it worsens

I may be small but I'm tough
I may be little but it makes
me lighter
I may be a woman bit I am rough
I am a Lady Firefighter
