Master Of Disguise

by Holly Nicole Williams   Dec 5, 2005

If I'm laughing out loud
Pay no attention
It's just a cover-up for when I'm feeling down.

I'm the clown that's putting on a show
I'm making you laugh
But I'm really hurting so
I'm just not letting you know.

If I'm standing up straight with my
head held high
So suave, so dignified
Be not fooled...
I'm the master of disguise.

If I'm making jokes
And having you crack a smile
I'm covering a heart thats been broke
I guess I feel it'll be worth it after while.

If I seem happy
It's because I'd rather not cry
So, pardon me
I'm the master of disguise.
