Bleeding Lullaby

by Samara Elizabeth Vance   Dec 5, 2005

Through the days
she sits alone.
Afraid to see,
she should have known.
She should have seen this coming,
But she didn't have a clue.
Until he left her with the words,
'I have stopped loving you'.
But, for now, she'll move right on,
for in time he shall see,
That all she does without him there,
is bleed herself to sleep.
