Alone and Waiting(in loving memory)

by Samara Elizabeth Vance   Dec 6, 2005

I stay among the rubble,
and try not to look sad.
They took your home and to this day,
I still am very mad.
The death surrounds and follows me,
everywhere i seem to go.
Its like a hungry stalker,
Im to afraid to tell him no.
It took you from me,
and the home we held so dear.
Mom and Dad are gone too,
I hope you see them way up there.
Give a shout-out to Malick for me,
and one for Black Jack too.
I miss you all so much right now,
My whole world seems to have fallen through.
The nights are quiet now for me,
until I sing my song.
A song of saddness and hate,
but is that really all that wrong?
I hope you all remember me,
think of me every day.
Jumping on clouds seems like so much fun,
I wish I could come and play.
But I sit in this dark cellar,
and dream of better days.
Until the time comes for us to all be together,
When its my turn to fly away.
