You Picked Her

by Raychel   Dec 8, 2005

She's got the looks,
The blue eyes,
The Blond hair,
And I'm left behind as the one who cries.

She is what you deserve,
Of course I'm not.
I'm not that perfect you see,
I'm just not that hot.

She's polite and respectful,
I'm rude and disobedient,
She'll always stay true to you,
And, well, so would i but...

She lives life without a single flaw,
I'm always screwing it up,
She's as perfect as a porcelain doll,
I'm that nasty chipped cup.

She must be perfect,
to obtain your love,
I'll never, *no way in hell* be that perfect,
So it's me you don't love.

Go ahead,
Love her.
You already picked her.
But i know that you wont be sorry,
That you left me in the dust.
Crying.
Alone.
Without you.

Because you picked her.

And what nathan said is true...someone being too perfect is dull because you already know things about them...it's when your different that makes things intersting to learn about...escpecially when your spontanous....okay...i'm done..

Hey I liked it a lot. especially the crack of the porcelean doll. I dont agree with the moral of the story though, as perfection gets boring and old quick it's the quarks of imperfection that binds true love
