Love or Obsession

Is it possible to need someone,
Rather, then just want them?
Is it possible to just be so wrapped up in someone else's arms,
That nothing else matters?

How is it that someone can feel so strongly for someone else?
Would you call it love or obsession?

What is it that makes two people attract?
Some say opposites attract but, I might have to disagree.
You are not the opposite, and you are not the same.
You are perfect.

Perfectly holding me close,
And keeping me safe,
Keeping me sane.
Making me smile, when really I wanna cry.
Making all tears that fall,
Fall from joy rather then hurt.

I need you and want you.
I need you to want me and promise to be there.
I need you to keep me sane and keep me smiling.
Can you promise me these few things?
These few things that will help make my life complete.
I promise to do the same.

So once again, is this love, or obsession?
Feeling so strongly for someone else,
Someone who appeals to you in every way, shape, and form.
I think it is love, true love.
