Crazy how life passes us by
with cars, and stars, and butterflies,
Always some plan and always some reason
Why this way is best and that way is treason.

This world is filled with answers
that time has already told,
Yet even shown a million times
we are seldom sold~

We say we are new & always improved
but what is our true measure?
Is it by a suave ad campaign
or perhaps a well composed letter?

This world is filled with answers
the past has already told,
Yet even shown a million times
we are seldom sold~

Why is it when we thirst for water
we find something else to drink?
The solution is so simple
but still we avoid the sink.

This world is filled with answers
nature has already told,
Yet even shown a million times
we are seldom sold~

Like a spoiled child
never satisfied with what there is,
Always wanting what should & could be
enchanted by the fizz.

This world is filled with answers
ancestors have already told,
Yet even shown a million times
we are seldom sold~

As one piece of this puzzle
we think we know it all,
Has history not shown us
that pride makes the strongest man fall?

This world is filled with answers
God has already told,
Yet even shown a million times,
we refuse to be sold.
