The Leaves

by herewithme   Dec 9, 2005

If every leaf on every tree
fell to where you lie beside me
i know that then,
we'd both be free.

free from the prison our bodies have become.
free from the place that we once loved.

stepping into the unknown
but we are not alone.
standing on the edge
holding one another.
if i fall then you do too.

This one's really written beautifully. I like all the messages you've put into it, and I find there's a definite feeling of comfortable...unease that adds a lot. Thanks again!
