My Reverie

Captivating thoughts consume
dreams creativity paints
wishing for it to come true
thinking it's a perfect fit

Reality swiftly floats by
my reverie blinds the light
not realizing what I've got
as I dream for something else

Believing that my dreams
will complete my happiness
Not realizing it's already there
the key to completing me
