A christmas without you

It was time to open presents,
On the morning of Christmas day,
I saw a gift labeled from ellysia,
And didn\'t know what to say.

No one said anything,
As I looked around the room,
\"Open it,\" the said,
\"You\'ll find out what it is soon.\"

I opened up the gift,
And my heart skipped a beat,
I looked up at my mom,
Slowly she let our eyes meet.

She told me ellysia wanted me to have it,
To remember she\'s looking down,
I held my gift close,
As my heart began to pound.

The gift had been a locket,
With two pictures, one of me one of my best friend ellysia,
I put the neckalace on,
And somehow I heard ellysia tell me not to be sad.
