Tears In The Paint (Part I)

by ratchild666   Dec 12, 2005

Walking down
These stairs once more
Into the dark
Below the floor

Into the room
Where monsters glow
Where colours fight
And devils show

Palette in hand
And brush on ear
Approach my place
Without a fear

Big, intimidating
The thing i chalked
Blood red footprints
Where i walked

This is the wall
That i have to cover
And then use this
Paint to smother

Shadows fill
The empty space
Of this heavenly
Hellish place

All alone
But still i smile
Away from it
For a short while

Clear my mind
And lift my brush
And feel the thoughts
Begin to rush
