The Fall Of An Angel

by ratchild666   Dec 12, 2005

Her dress is ripped her wings are torn
Weeping maiden all forlorn
Her angelic dress that was once white
Now black and red smears from her fight

Her halo has fallen from grace
Lying in this forgotten place
The jewels hanging from her ears
Ripped and replaced by a thousand fears

Clawing at the stone cold ground
Screaming but she hears no sound
Fading away in so much pain
She will never rise again

Possesion from demons raging inside
Crawling but nowhere to hide
Red tears streaming from her eyes
No one hears her desperate cries

Seeping blood across the floor
Her scene of repulsive gore
Heaving chest to no avail
She has smashed her holy grail

One last look up to the sun,
Closes her eyes and she is done

Amazing descriptions you have there. A sad tale of a fallen angel. I would really like it to be longer, it's so sad that I was hoping for a different ending. Nonetheless, a truly emotional piece. Despair speaks so strongly through the words.

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing. =)

Dark, and sad. This is one of the better fallen angel poems I have read
