My words, my soul

All times hardships weighing me down,
Ive lost who i used to be,
bitter fate has twisted my destiny,
the ruins of time have ruined me,
tears will not bring back the song,
the sweet melody of forever,
when the bond of hearts were so strong,
and the dreams were made together,
the ruins of joy have ruined me,
dragged me down into despair,
i feel death tapping on my shoulder,
mocking me,
as my hearts grows colder,
following me through this life of no meaning,
slowly growing older,
tragedy etches pain onto your soul,
until theres no reason for believing,
you look at me but I'm not whole,
this face you see is deceiving,
you were right when you said you didn't know me,
i hide behind this wall i made,
i wont show my vulnerability,
just to be betrayed,
i wont let myself depend on you,
in case you're taken away from me,
i only need my words-my soul,
just go away,
just leave me,
i dont mean to hurt any of you,
or push anyone away,
but my heart is slowly withering,
as i hold on,
just one more day,
