Behind the clouds

That simple bloody life of mine
hidden behind the clouds
broken and scarred from who you are
past the level of torture pain

yell and scream and think its right
kill me before i live
take down my soul and think ill be fine
yet dont listen to my screams
my hurtful pains i know they wont listen
my attention seeking cries
for someone to find out
please help me

i take this life of mine
not wanting it to live
i take this already once
bloody knife of mine
pull it across the skin
release the pain
the blood inside
knowin that im still alive

this girl that i am
holds the key inside
broken hearted hiding who she is
crying when no ones there
she holds the pain no longer there
seeing who really knows her
that girl is me

i hide in the shadows
of what people want me to be
hidden life behind the clouds
the bloody life of mine
i bleed so pretty
so they wont ever know
that behind this smile
theres a girl...waiting to be discoverd
