He has been here

by Romy Rose   Dec 15, 2005

No bravery in your beautifully eyes,
only sadness, love no more,
He has been here,
this devastation therefor.

A scream for help,
but there seems no sound,
He has been here,
how can silence be so loud?

No hope, on these broken hearts,
nothing more to hold on to,
He has been here,
see the pain he pulled us through.

Unsolved problems, for untrue lies,
so less understanding, still much to say,
He has been here,
trying to move on, but how could they?

I see no love, in one mothers arms,
I see no smile at one child's face.
He has been here,
wiping emotions away without a trace.

So many lives, because of him erased,
why do we have to wonder who we are?
He has been here,
leaving a never healing scar.

Will he return? our question will always be,
we all want to know, for we're all scared,
He has been here,
And he never cared.

No possibility, to feel completely safe,
his presence is still lingering clear.
living on in the sorrowed minds,
for he has been here.

*to an 11-year old boy, died of cancer.*

Beautiful *hugs* im sorry for what happened. Beautifully written. Very powerful, especially the 'he has been here'. Cancer's not a pretty thing to watch, especially in little ones. Take care and stay strong. XXXXX
