That Kiss

by Paula   Dec 15, 2005

I\'m screaming,
No one hears me,
I\'m surrounded by people,
I am alone,
You kiss me,
I\'m alive once again.

That kiss, was my awakening,
My new begining.

When i saw you there,
My mind went into overdrive,
How i wished i was alive.

I stood there,
Alone and scared,
But you,
You walked over to me,
Like a keeper to a bee,
You hugged me tight,
And whispered things to me,
Things that sounded so right.

Then together we were,
As the night was growing old,
You leaned in,
My heart began to beat in my thoat,
You knew what to do,
Like a sailor on a boat,
Then a made a move,
A move so brave and bold.

I kissed you back,
You didn\'t stop me,
I carried on,
There we stood,
That one spot,
I remember the place,
Right down to the dot,
We were there so long,
Just hugging and stroking.

I went into a daze,
My brain became a maze,
Is it a lie?
When will I see him again?
Is this goodbye?

That was goodbye,
I never saw you again,
But i\'m sure, right down to today,
It was not a lie,
It was ture and pure,
I just wish it was more.

My whole life changed that night,
Protest as you might,
But that kiss,
Brought me back,
Back from a place,
So dark and fearful,
I\'m thankful,
If it wasn\'t for you,
I\'ld still be tearful,
Alone, scared and feeling used.

You changed me that night, with just,
That kiss.
