The Devil

by Paula   Dec 15, 2005

The devil lives in you,
I see it in your eyes,
I long for you to tell me,
Why, when and who.

Your soul cries out,
I hear it's pain,
It drills right through me,
Right through to my brain.

The devil lives in me,
Can't you see?
You did this to me,
Years ago,
A week after you decided,
Decided to say hello,
That night was hell,
How bad?
I can not tell.

You shammed me,
You made me think it was my fault.
But i refuse,
Refuse to let you lock me up,
Lock me up in your vault,
Your vault of hate and sin.
You shamed me so,
I threw all love in the bin.
I long to tell her of my pain,
But I can't,
You shamed me.

I will not tell.
But know and remember this,
The devil lives in me,
The devil lives in you,
Forever we will live in an abyss.

Interesting way of saying what's going on... the devil is related to all evil and you say it's in you... powerful and brilliant! I love, love, love it!
