A prayer of help

by Megan   Dec 15, 2005

She's though about it daily and had it planned out
The way she would stop her life in a route
It was premeditated and planned
But really all she needed was a helping hand
Crying in her room last night she had come close
Thinking of her life, her eyes were glued to the dose
She could have ended it all
Right then and there, but she suddenly began to fall
She fell to her knees and the pills covered the floor
Her mom suddenly passed outside the door
"Goodnight, my daughter." was all she said
The gilr put her hands together and down went her head
Please Jesus, let me beat this
Let me get enchanted by your bliss
I want to be happy and never sad
But lately my life has been far too bad
Let me get over this stubborn bump
And then once again my heart may pump
