Dancing

by Ashelin   Dec 15, 2005

The swirl of skirts
The sound of glasses clinking
The light laughter
Of a party of dancing

The melody of a quartet
Flowing through the air
Keeping the dancers going
As on lookers stare

Such brave souls they are
The ones that do dance
They don't wait like the others
For a last chance

They spin and they twirl
Across the dance floor
In bright and dark costumes
And their maskes, we can't ignore

Such Beauty I see
In such graceful movements
They are like perfect angels
Angels, heaven sent.

What an interesting write. Your words drew vivid images, beautiful and grand. I like the concept you've approach. You had it right there, the descriptions and all. Nice write. Thanks for sharing. =)
