CONSCIENCE

by TOM ZART   Dec 15, 2005

CONSCIENCE

No ear nor tongue may ever tell
All the tortures of mankind.
No voice is so soft and clear,
As the conscience of our mind.

It is our one true sanctuary,
Where God alone makes the rules!
The guardian of our souls
Which keeps us from being fools.

Our conscience makes us righteous,
It's a whisper of god in man.
For without it we're mere puppets
Who dance to the devil's hand.
