And angel in heaven
Wrote down my sisters years
And as she thought to herself
She cried so many tears
For she knew she was taking
One who everybody loved
But she had to bring her up to heaven
Way all the way above
As the angel held her hand
And told her she was safe
The respirator slowly stopped
She told her she was going to a better place
Two days later a viewing
For all who knew her well
But as I went up to touch her casket
My little heart began to swell
For I knew this was the last time
We'd ever be this close again
I was loosing someone truly special
I was loosing my best friend
At her funeral it seemed like
I could no longer cry
I cried all day and all night
But I knew it wowould bring her back to life
When the service was over
I walked to the casket and placed a white rose
For that was her favorite flower
To everyone who knew her they all know
But as I turned to walk away
A tear fell from my eye
Because I knew that this was really the end
That I really had to say goodbye
So I turned back around and placed my head on the casket
And told her she will always be in my heart
For I'd see her again one sweet day
Just for now god has taken us apart
I wanted so bad to feel her touch
To hold my tiny hand and tell me it would be alright
But then I noticed I'd just place my hand on my heart
Whenever I want to be close or when I'm scared at night
