Why?

Why would you do such a horrible thing?
why would you think that way?
why would you hurt yourself because of me?
isn't there anything i can say?
I'm sure with time you'll get over me
and find a better girl
one that smart kind and beautiful
she will be the center of your world
just promise me you'll stop this
stop causing yourself pain
one time you wont be so lucky
and you might hit a vain
if you died I'd never forgive myself
you don't know how much i would cry
i don't think that i could handle it
I'd also want to die
just remember that i love you
and though life isn't always fair
just know I'll always be here for you
and that i really deeply care

i wrote this poem because a guy that i dumped started cutting himself because he loved me and i broke his heart. he tried to commit suicide but i luckily talked him out of it.leave your thoughts xo*
