The memory that will never die

by Brian n Josh   Dec 19, 2005

Exchanged glances from across the mall
Each others eyes caught and in love they fall

Him, already taken
But only now his hearts awakens

Thoughts of his current lover
Thoughts of the other

Forgets what he has committed
Does what his desires has permitted

Souls bind to each other
Hearts yearn to one another

Each other they caress
In passion they express

His mind fills with images of his lover
His mind fills with images of the other

He has found the one
But in doing so, adultery has been done

Runs home to tell his wife
Hopes not to cause her strife

He must do what must be done
In order to stay with the one

Wife takes it hard
Runs out the house, into the yard

A car starts
His wife runs, a broken heart

Feelings of Sorrow
Remain until tomorrow

He flees back to his soul mate
He brings her up to date

She comforts him
She loves him

He confides in her
He loves her

A banging at the door
She opens it up, then screams and falls to the floor

His wife
A knife

Horrific scene
Horrific screams

He jumps to help his mate
He jumped too late

Police storm the room
Taking his wife to her doom

The man stands there
All the pain he must bare

He found his love
He lost his love

His heart yearned to her
And for it he lost her

Years pass by
But this memory will never die

The one night he was whole
He will always remember in full
