The thing

I once found this thing
it was under my bed
it was tiny and purple
without any head
well i guess it had one
at one point in time
it was hairy, ugly and smelled like a lime.

my cousin came over
i told her my find
she laughed and told me i lost my mind
i said come and see for yourself
by now the menace was eating my shelf.
i started a fire, lit up some pot
i can sure tell you he liked it allot.

We scrubbed him up good
and shaved off his hair
put him in a pot we began to snare
some carrots some onions some potatoes sweet
then we cooked what we prepared to eat.

Yuk i thought as i tasted it
that little animal tasted like s*it
i added a lot of salt just to taste
maybe i shouldn't use pee to baste.
