I bet that you'll never remember
The things that i'll never forget
Like every word that you've spoken
And every day since the one where we met

And i bet that your heart doesn't smile
Everytime that you hear me speak
And I bet that you will never cry
When you haven't seen me for a whole week

And sometimes I wish
That you'd leave me everyday
So then you would hug me
Like you did that first and last day

And sometimes I wonder
If maybe that wouldn't be best
Cause if I never saw you again
My head wouldn't be in this mess

Cause I bet that you will never remember
All these things that I cannot forget
Because they're the things that still make my heart beat
All these things that i'll never forget
