Her wrist is like a book

by Jen   Dec 21, 2005

Her wrist is like a book
Each cut has a different story
Her life is what she took
No fame, No glory

Everyone thought
She was doing alright
They couldn't see her fake smiles
And that she was giving up the fight

If they opened up their eyes
Then they would've known
They would've seen her pain
That she tried not to show

She always looked so empty
So lonely inside
It's really not a mystery
That she wanted to die

So after school
She got her knife
She went into the bathroom
And took her life

A few hours later
Her mother gets home
She's looking for her daughter
Who was once again alone

She looks upstairs
Calls her name
Her daughter didn't answer
Her death is to blame

Her mother gets a bad feeling
She knows something isn't right
She goes into the bathroom
And sees her daughter and a knife

She's searching for a pulse
As she begins to realize
The one she loves most
Is no longer alive
