Time Doesn't Heal Hearts

by Dolores DLF   Dec 21, 2005

Today this morning, I heard that you said.
Time heals hearts, my face you read.
"Don't dwell in the past," you said then,
"Don't say never, but say when."

Depression hits and tears depart;
So tell me how...time heals hearts.
Explain to me what time is for,
So tears won't fall...anymore.

Time heals hearts how may I ask?
I do want to know so I won't live in the past.
It's very hard to believe your part,
When I know for a fact time doesn't heal hearts.

What is time? When it's the same,
Day by day you feel the pain.
For the meanwhile, what is there to do?
When there's nothing...but to woe.

My broken heart, hurry...mend if you must.
But don't say...Time heals hearts.
