Feels So Good

by Hillary   Dec 22, 2005

I took a look in the mirror
So displeased with what I seen
Couldn't tell you a thing
About the person staring back at me
I opened my draw
To the familiar scene
The seen to of the not so typical teen
Looking at a rusty razor,
Cotton balls stained with red
This is not how I want to end up dead
Quickly i grabbed it
Be for I got caught
Could tell the most unbelievable story of happiness
And still, it was bought
My wrist was throbbing
It hurt like hell
The blood traced down
And then it fell
My body ached
Inside and out
Looking for an escape
But my wrist was the only route
I rinsed the blood
So easily it went down the drain
Along with my smiles, my laughter,
but most of all my pain
I knew this was something I shouldn't do.
But who was I kidding?
I knew that I would.
Because this sensation
Feels So Good.
