My bestfriend

Ill never forget the day i sat at the table you sat,
just coming to sit and have a small chat.
not knowing that the chat wouldn't be our last,
we became really good friends all so fast.

day by day we became closer friends,
like we were gonna be there together until the end.
our friendship grew as we constantly talked on the phone,
and were there for each other when we felt alone.

i was there for you and you were there for me,
knowing that forever friends we would be.
but an accident happened way back in the days,
that day I stood and looked at the sun raise.

you left me alone in this world all by myself,
with no one to lend a hand... no one to help.
but now we are not side-by-side,
which makes me wanna run and hide.
hide from the world and everyone too,
until i am side by side with you.

im writing this poem to show you how i felt,
when you left me and with all the pain i had dealt.
you were my best friend and my grandpa too,
but now your gone so loved and so true.
ill love you forever until the end,
and ill never forget you because you were my Best friend!

even though your gone,
through me you still live on,
you taught me how to be strong!
