The Noose

by LonelyNightsHurt   Dec 23, 2005

Climbing the ladder; slowly
Attaching the rugged rope
This is the end of my life
For now I have no hope
Tied to the tree, deep in forest
In the middle of the darkest night
Thinking sarcastically, what you would say
Your words filled with spite
Reminiscing of a life
A past so long ago
Thinking about everything
And only having scars to show
Drawing upon one last thought
Of where you and I had faked a love
Thinking of how on our anniversary
You let free a single white dove
Letting it slip back into my memory
My slips into over drive
My body is seeking my blood
I am beginning to thrive
Instead I choose not to cut
I tie the noose so quick
And before I know what is happening
I am falling like a brick
The noose tied around my neck
I scrub the floor, I wash the deck
I did everything I possibly could
Now I need to knock on wood

Wrote it a few days ago, I don't know but comment or vote if you want, if you don't i wont hold it against you, nobody ever does
