The True Meaning of Christmas.

by ~ShOoOT4ThEmOoON~   Dec 23, 2005

And it will be Christmas,
Quite soon, don\'t show greed.
Because Anne McMareMare was showing indeed.
She went to the store,
no good thoughts in mind,
bought candy canes lollypops,
\"These shall all be mine!\"
cried sour Anne Mare, as she went through the line,
And just in time.
To see of good spirit working the shift,
And she saw Anne, and in a jif,
realized this girl had better get taught,
a lesson of caring, and sharing good thought.
\"Sweety, dear, is that candy for me?\"
playfully asked the worker,
her eye filled with glee.
The little girl gave her worst looking stare,
and said the the worker with a very mean glare,
\"This candy is mine!\"
\"Yes, it\'s all mine!\"
\"And you can\'t have a bit of this candy!\"
\"It\'s mine!\"
\"Now sweety, my dear, aren\'t you a bit greedy?\"
\"It\'s Christmas my dear, and you must give, sweety.\"
\"For the true meaning of Christmas is not to recieve,
but to give and to love and not to decieve.\"
\"So I should be giving this candy away?
Tomorrow, yeah \'morrow, Christmas day?\"
\"Well yes my dear child, but more than that.
\"You should be giving your love, and that is that.\"
So the little girl left, twinkle in her eye,
and walked out the door as she gave a big sigh.
\"The true meaning of Christmas is not to recieve,\"
\"But to give and to love and not to decieve.\"
