Single Red Rose

by Stephanie M.   Dec 23, 2005

A single red rose pressed upon her cheek
As she remembered what happened that week
Remembering the night he stopped by with a rose and just to say hi
For that would be the last
On that ride home he was to die
But he left a note with that one single rose
A very short note that read:
"I love you and thank you for being there baby, I'll love you forever",and a heart for the close.
She had no idea this would be his last night
For she would awake by a phone call not right
She would hear his mother cry
"You must come over",she said with a sigh
She went to his house with tears in her eyes
Only to hear her name yelled in cries
She walked into his room
Where everyone sat
Only to find a note and a ring on his bed
That read:
"Will you marry me?"
