Raindrops

by erratic hippie   Dec 24, 2005

[This is an imagist poem: it's supposed to be this short, trust me. it should also be painting some sort of picture in the reader's mind when they go through it, so i hope that worked...my focus here was a summer storm]

From the grape-stained belly
Of an August gale,
Electric storks dive
Past the gravid torrent
Of an overcast sky,
Bundles of newborn dew
Slipping through their nibs.

Hmm..Interesting, It's very short yes, but interesting. I don't really know what to say, it's pretty different than to what I am used to.
