Sweet Sorrow

by Amber   Dec 24, 2005

All we wanted was to be together forever,
Why couldn't we see it would really be never.
Loving each other was not the problem,
Our parents however will never be forgiven.
Day in and out of their incessant complaining,
Less and less we could take it, our patience, thinning.
Each night had ended with such sweet sorrow,
And we just couldn't wait for anymore tomorrows.
We'll be together forever beyond those gates,
Just because our parents couldn't get past their hate.
So as you read this, mom and dad,
I know you both must be very sad.
But we had to end this shit and all this pain,
So we left this life together and you've got no one but yourselves to blame.
