My daddy is dead

He has long been gone
you can see it in his dimmed eyes
he's been replaced by a stranger
and he feeds us daily lies

the man i once loved
no longer exists
for he signed the papers
and decided to abandon us

he says he had to
but i could care less
i don't care if i ever see him again
because this isn't my daddy...my daddy is dead
