Baby Girl

by John Bowlby   Dec 25, 2005

I'm sorry baby girl,
I've done it again,
I promised you the world,
I wrote it in pen.

Please forgive me,
For all that I've done,
Please don't leave me,
For what I've done wrong.

I was so upset,
Not thinking straight,
Doing something I'd regret,
Only seeing signs of hate.

I'm sorry for everything,
Please don't go,
Our love hanging by a string,
By now you might know.

Give me another chance,
Give me another try,
Give me more than a second glance,
Give me time to explain why.

I hope that you see,
Before the situation can worsen,
That I'm trying to be,
For you, a better person.

Please forgive me baby girl,
Please don't leave me baby girl,
Please don't run baby girl,
Please help me baby girl.
