My Heart

by Truest Lies   Dec 25, 2005

Be my heart's ship,
And carry me away,
To fairer shores,
No heartbreak storms,
And a warm, secure bay.
Let me know that I am safe,
This in my wounded heart I pray.

Give me a sailor's courage,
And a captain's pride,
To never lower my eyes again.
To never cry again.

Tell me about the wonders,
Of a close future,
An adventure where the ending will always be a happy one,

But always remind me,
That no matter how far away we go,
We will always return home.
