A Painful Life

by Sam   Dec 26, 2005

Is there anyone out there with the same pain
she asks herself this everyday
she screams outside in the pouring rain
her father is home "come in" is what she hears her mother say
behind her big blue eyes they are building up with tears
she pretends every things fine and tells herself its OK
she faces her father trying to hide the fear
he screams in her face as the tears roll down her cheek
her mother screams, crying "give her a break"
her brother trying to protect her
looking into his lifeless eyes
her father strikes him
as he drops to the floor beginning to cry
its her and her father as she stares at his face
the pain and agony has left her face
she feels her knees get weak and falls on the floor
her world is flashing before her eyes
her mother runs to her throws her arms around
her brother and mother crying at her lifeless body on the ground
